Great Valley Beer

Great Valley Farm Brewery produces a wide variety of beer styles. However, we focus on producing classic Belgian-style ales with ingredients grown on our 27-acre farm. Water drawn deep from the ground of our farm provides the backbone of our beer. Local and regionally grown ingredients are used whenever possible to highlight the bounty of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas.

Pale Ale

This beer is all about the hops (Cascade & Chinook). The malt stays in the background, but still manages to balance everything out nicely. This beer has distinct grapefruit and pine flavor from the hops.

A Belgian style farmhouse ale with a new world twist. This beer features Sorachi Ace hops late in the boil which provide the citrusy aromas and flavors (think lemon zest and orange peel). Classic Saison flavors of spice, pepper and earthiness are present, but in the background.

Belgian Stout

Traditional flavors of coffee, chocolate and caramel mingle with dark cherry and plum from the yeast. The Belgian yeast lightens up the body a bit in this Stout.
